Meet the Team

After graduating from the University of Otago in 2010, Vamsi chose Canberra as his preferred place of practice. With the best part of a decade’s experience in dentistry, Vamsi has treated everything from A to Z. His patients regard Vamsi’s extensive dental knowledge, chairside manner and personal touch. Vamsi has a particular passion for working with nervous patients and making sure their visit is stress free and easy.

When not at the practice or studying the latest dental techniques, you can find Vamsi riding his motorcycle through the Cotter Range or enjoying a coffee on Lonsdale Street. As a proud Canberran, Vamsi is extremely excited to see Gungahlin come into its own and is excited to be a part of its vibrant growth.

Alex graduated from the University of Adelaide and started his dental journey in Far North Queensland. After a visit to Canberra, Alex fell in love with the city and its vibrant community and decided to make Canberra his home. Alex is a passionate dental professional who is committed to providing his patients the best service possible. Alex enjoys family dentistry and has been commended for his ability to treat children with care and patience. Once you visit Alex, you’ll never want to see another dentist again.

Outside the practice, Alex has a deep and unwavering passion for music. Alex plays in a band and performs regularly in Canberra institutions. Alex is currently enjoying exploring everything Canberra has to offer so if you have any hidden gems or great recommendations please let Alex know!

Saranya also graduated from the University of Adelaide and has been working in Canberra ever since. She has a wide range of experience, working in both public and private dentistry, and within the hospital treating emergency trauma cases and general anaesthetics, treating patients with complex medical conditions, severe anxiety and special needs.

She prides herself on her gentle chairside manner and strong focus on preventive patient education, and she also loves to give back to the dental community by teaching dental students.

She thoroughly enjoys living in Canberra and seeing it grow, and in her free time enjoys yoga, food and wine, and tending to her ever-growing indoor plant collection.

Known as Dr This, she completed her undergraduate degree in Edmonton, Canada before moving to Australia to complete her postgraduate Doctor of Dental Medicine from the University of Sydney. After practicing in Sydney and regional NSW, she moved to Canberra in 2021 and now is proud to call it home.  

Dr This enjoys seeing patients from all walks of life, from age 1 to 100. She believes that dental health is a big part of overall health and wellbeing, and aims to foster a supportive and empowering partnership between herself and her patients. She particularly enjoys seeing kids as she believes in forming good habits early being an important building block in future adult dental health.  

Outside of dentistry, you can find Dr This making her way through her ever-growing Goodreads reading list, honing her culinary skills in the kitchen, and checking out Canberra’s restaurants and cafes.
